Italy was awesome...except for the fact that I was turned in for drinking. Um, yeah. Everyone was drinking...except for like maybe three people. And that stupid bitch who turned me in...she will pay.

Final decision about college

So I've made my final decision about college...drumroll, please...in the fall of 2004, I will be attending...Boston College!

I never, in my wildest dreams, thought that I would be attending BC for college. Never ever.

Oh well, things change!

And tomorrow morning, I AM GOING TO ITALY!

Quick Thought

Just added my friend Caoimhe to my list o' friends on my LJ...I've been catching up on reading her entries. Wow! She is a total Alias fiend! Completely psycho! I love her all the same. But gosh, she's something else!

I also think it's great that I've got her to love Victor Garber. I've become a musical fan lately, and I got into his work...he's got such a lovely voice!

Looked at her last entry...she wants me to be a "toaster." Hahaha! Umm, I'm not a crazed obsessive fan. It entertains me, the show, that is, but uh, I don't think I'm that in love with it. Even if VG is the secret love of my life! (Funny thing, it's my first "celebrity crush!" Wow, am I twelve? Haha!)

College Stuff

Just giving a college update:

Boston College: Admitted
Boston University: Admitted
Brown University: Rejected
Carleton College: Rejected
Colby College: Rejected
Columbia University: Rejected
Georgetown University: Rejected
Harvard University: Rejected
Kenyon College: Admitted
Northwestern University: Rejected
Syracuse University: ???

Went and visited Kenyon this weekend...dunno what to make of it yet. It was small and self-contained, pretty and quaint, basically a small liberal arts school. Personally, I'm leaning towards BC right now, but I'm trying to keep an open mind.

11 days until I go to Italy!

First Entry!

Wow, here it is, my very first entry in my very first online journal! Hooray for me!

Today seems like its going to be another exciting day in the Outly house; I've got homework "out the wazoo," and have to get myself in gear for my honors in history thesis. Blah! My ever-so-annoying physics teacher didn't give me any of my work in advance (before I left for my seven-day leave of absence), and now I've got this awful take-home quiz to do on gravitation. Argh! And then there's the history test on Friday that I've got to write an essay for, and the pointless assignments I have to catch up on in that class too. Tomorrow morning, when the rest of my peers are sleeping in (as it's MCAS testing for sophomores), I've got to go in early to school so that I can watch this movie for my french class, "La Symphonie Pastorale." Then I get to write an essay about the movie! Goody-goody gumdrops! To top it all off, the books I took out for my honors thesis are due today, and the damn library won't let me renew them. It's like the world's decided that it's "Drive Amanda Utterly Insane" week.

Hmm, that was quite a bit of complaining. But, you know what, despite the fact that I've got enough work to last me till graduation, I wouldn't go back and change a thing. Model UN and the Free Spirit Conference were both well worth the current aggravation that is plaguing me.

So with that, I'll end this delightfully convoluted and dreary entry!

Oh yes, and THREE WEEKS UNTIL ITALY!!!!
